The 2022 EAsDEC Conference was held in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 26th - 28th May, 2022.

The Conference delivered a full programme packed with innovation, expertise, insights and learning opportunities, all set against the vibrant backdrop of the the warm and welcoming City of Belfast.

This is the only conference event in Europe centred on diabetic eye disease and thus attracts high calibre researcher and clinical practitioners from across this specialist areas. In 2022, the scientific programme explored aspects of diabetic eye care both in clinical and research settings and were honoured to have Professor Sobha Sivaprasad, Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust deliver the EVA KOHNER Lecture.
