NOTE FROM THE ORGANISERS
We are so looking forward to welcoming you to the 28th Annual Meeting of EASDec in Belfast this year.
In order to help with your planning I would like to outline a number of guidance points for both presenters, posters presenters and delegates.

The Conference:
On Thursday 24th May at 4pm a Satellite Symposium will be held in the in the lecture theatre, Centre of Experimental Medicine, Queens University Belfast, 97 Lisburn Road, BT9 7BL, everyone is most welcome to this event. This will be followed by the opening event in Belfast City Hall, Donegall Square, Belfast, BT1 5GS, where there will be a tour of the historic building beginning at 6pm followed by a drinks reception.
On Friday 25th and Saturday 26th May the scientific programme will take place at Riddel Hall, Queen's University Belfast, 185 Stranmillis Road, Belfast BT9 5EE.
The conference dinner will be held in the Ulster Museum, Botanic Gardens, Belfast, BT9 5AB on Friday 25th May and will begin with a Prosecco reception at 18.30.

Presenters:
- Moderators have been asked to introduce each free paper session setting out themes and key contexts, without giving highlights of the presentations
- Times given for presentations in each free paper session vary, please ensure you check the timings carefully
- Please allow a minimum of 2 minutes for questions at the end of your presentation
- Please avoid general statements on well known facts
- PowerPoint formats should be 16:9
- Please forward a copy of your presentation to me as soon as possible
Posters:
- Posters can be put up on Friday morning
- Moderators will be discussing findings, it is therefore unnecessary to develop a PowerPoint presentation

DIRECTIONS TO ALL VENUES
GUIDELINE FOR SPEAKERS
- Please locate your session room in due time and be there at least 20 minutes before the start of the session and deliver the presentation to the technician.
Presentation format: Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Windows 10 and Office 2013.
Electronic Support: USB only.
Videos should be included in your PowerPoint. Presentation or at least be in a format that is supported by Windows Media Player. - We would like to ask the speakers to keep their presentations within the given time limits.
- In case of using your own laptop, please inform the team in the Session/ Lecture Room, in order to prepare for this.
- The projector format will be 4:3
POSTER PRESENTATION DIMENSIONS
The poster board poster space measures 48inches x 48 inches (122cm x 122cm).
ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATES
Attendance certificates will will be available at the conference from conference Board.
